- Can I start for free?
- Yes. The Free plan lets you record five achievements, build a basic Career Passport and one basic CV, see three career suggestions and preview your Evidence Strength Score.
- Do I need to enter card details for the Free plan?
- No. The Free plan never asks for card details.
- Can I cancel at any time?
- Yes. Career Passport and Career Pro can be cancelled at any time from Billing, and access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for.
- What happens to my achievements after cancellation?
- Nothing is deleted. Your account returns to the Free limits, and your achievements, employment history and education stay in your account.
- Can I still read documents created while subscribed?
- Yes. Every CV, application pack, cover letter and interview pack you created stays readable in Documents, and you can download it as a PDF or email a copy to yourself.
- What does unlimited actually mean?
- Career Unlimited has no monthly document limit. Unlimited access is intended for normal personal career use. Automated generation, account sharing, resale and creating documents for other people are not permitted, and temporary rate limits may be used to maintain service reliability.
- How does the founding member offer work?
- Two founding offers can run at once. The first 50 qualifying customers pay £59 for their first year of Career Passport instead of £79, and the first 50 qualifying customers pay £99 for their first year of Career Unlimited instead of £199. Each then renews at its standard annual price unless you cancel before renewal. A place is only counted once a payment has been confirmed.
- What counts as an application pack?
- One application pack is one generated set of application material for a specific vacancy — the job-description analysis, the evidence match and the tailored recommendations produced together in a single run.
- What counts as a tailored CV?
- A tailored CV is a CV generated against a specific job advert, rather than a general CV version you build and save yourself.
- Do unused allowances carry over?
- No. Monthly allowances are used within the month and do not roll over.
- When do monthly allowances reset?
- On your own monthly billing date, not on the first of the calendar month. Yearly subscribers still get a fresh allowance every month. Your remaining allowance and reset date are always shown before you use a tool.
- Does EarnedStory guarantee an interview?
- No. EarnedStory helps you record and present your evidence clearly. Career matches and vacancies are guidance only and no employment outcome is guaranteed.
- Does EarnedStory write experience I have not provided?
- No. Every generated document is built from achievements, roles and education you recorded, and you approve or edit the wording before it is saved.
- Are PDF downloads included?
- Yes, on every paid plan. Documents download as PDF files, and you can also email a copy to your own account address.
- How is my information protected?
- Your Career Passport is private to your account. Payments are handled by Stripe, and EarnedStory never sees or stores your card details. You can download or delete your information at any time.
- What happens when the Founding Member period ends?
- A Founding Member pays £59 for the first year. It then renews at the normal £79 a year, and you can cancel at any time before it does.
